      On the last September 28, 2014 three representatives from SMAI Al-Azhar 8 Summarecon Bekasi successfully participated in Embassy Cup 2014 in the field of speech competition. They were Khairunnisa Rahmaditia, Vika Kyneissia Gliselda, and Jessica Ramadhani, the tenth graders of Science class. The competition is an annual event held by SMAN 4 Bekasi that is joined by several senior high schools in Jabodetabek

      In this event the contestants from SMAI Al-Azhar 8 namely Khairunnisa Rahmaditia and Vika Kyneissia Gliselda could pass the first round (preliminary) successfully. In this round they had to deliver their speech based on their own text in 5 to 8 minutes length without text. Alhamdulillah they could go the the next round (final). In the final round they were asked to make their own speech text by choosing certain topic provided by committee for one hour. As the result, Khairunnisa Rahmaditia could achieve the first place and Vika Kyneissia Gliselda could achieve the third place as the winners. Good Job! They can reach the achievement after they have practiced for about two weeks. As the rewards they will get some money, a trophy, and a certificate on October 18, 2014. (FDW)
